Democratic Congresspersons Barbara Lee (Oakland), Ro Khanna (San Jose), Mark Takano (Riverside), Julia Brownley (Ventura), Salud Carbajal (Santa Barbara) have all signed on as co-sponsors for a bill by Rep. Lou Correa (Anaheim) to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a clinical trial of the effects of cannabis for chronic pain and PTSD. This is a bipartisan, bicameral bill introduced in both the House and Senate.
